The Women Who Have Made Virtua
The first woman we want to celebrate is, of course, the one who started it all. Penny Lat started Virtua Solutions more than six years ago to attract more clients to their freelance work. She and co-founder Francis Guintu worked tirelessly to set up the company.
And that was certainly not an easy task. With her being a single parent, Penny had a lot to juggle. But being the feisty lady she is, our founder soldiered on and succeeded in establishing the company. Penny also has a lot of great plans for the company’s future.
Another lady that Virtua is proud of is Chesca Cunanan. Being one of Virtua’s first agents, Cheska has been at the forefront as our company grew. And she has been one of the main contributors to that success, helping Penny and Frank cater to our first clients. She also lent her expertise to training our newer batches of agents and helping them in their work.
Our Female Force Is Growing
With Virtua’s co-founder being female, it’s no surprise that we also have many women in our teams. The ladies make up nearly half of our entire workforce. And they are growing in numbers, as we welcome new talents into our fold.
Of course, our female agents aren’t just beauties. They also have a lot of talent in them. Each of our agents has a lot of experience in their respective fields. And we made sure they could showcase those talents freely for their Benefit.
Celebrating Motherhood
Being a mother, Penny has also paved the way to make Virtua a great career path for working parents. As of now, 22 working moms are part of our team. And we ensure that it also becomes an enjoyable experience for them.
Virtua accomplished that through our strong push for flexible work options. From the company’s early days, we have embraced remote work and, more specifically, work-from-home setups. That allows Virtua mommies to be near their families. We also provide flexible work hours, letting them tailor their work around their home schedules.
