As part of preparations for its website relaunch and marketing campaign, the Virtua Solutions held a one-day photoshoot last August 20. Everyone from the management to the various teams was present for a fun-filled activity.
Virtua Solutions’ Company Portraits
The company held the shoot in one of the studios at the WeRemote Coworking Building in Ortigas. Members of the various teams trooped to the studio as early as six in the morning. Some were coming from their work shifts. While some were still sleepy, everyone was in high spirits.
Virtua Chief Marketing Officer Joal Cabrera said the shoot is to promote the launch of the company’s new website. This is tied to its latest marketing campaign showcasing more of its teams. Cabrera added that this is a great way to “give a face” to the brand and make it relatable for clients.
And for that, each employee got a chance to have their own mini shoot. The first part was all about the corporate look. Most of the guys chose the classic long-sleeved look, while the ladies donned their best-looking blazers.
But it was not your usual stiff corporate photoshoot session. The glam team of Jericho Valenzuela, Maja Blanka, and Bryan Eusebio made sure that each employee looked the professional part. Meanwhile, photographers James Ona and Jeffrey Hizon looked for the best angles to show off their professional air.
After the corporate shoot, there was also the wacky shoot. Participants got the chance to let loose in their casual attires. To add personality to their photos, the management requested them to bring some props. Some brought their favorite gadgets and others even brought their favorite toys.
The casual shoot was a lot more relaxed as the photographers let the Virtua Solutions team do their thing. Some employes even went for a more playful shoot, jumping and dancing around as the cameras clicked on. Cabrera says they want to capture the energy and make it a highlight of the brand.
A Get Together After Years
Aside from the main shoot, Virtua employees also served as models for the various scenario shots that the photography team was doing. The marketing department explained that this is another way to create strong branding for Virtua. They said these shorts would add more personality to the company’s content.
After the whole shoot finished, it was time for some fun. It was not often that the Virtua gang got together face to face. The last time the company had a major shoot like this was two years ago. When the pandemic struck after that, Virtua went into fully remote operations.
Everyone excitedly chatted with their colleagues throughout the day. It was also an opportunity for the new members of the teams to meet their senior counterparts. Meanwhile, senior ones took the opportunity to catch up with their peers. Food and drinks were readily available for all those present to share in.
Everyone was eager to know when the next event would be. The Virtua Solutions management excitedly said that there are still more being planned, now that travel is back to normal. With that, the company declared the photoshoot a success.
