Going on a motorcycle road trip is certainly an experience. You have that engine humming between your legs while the wind rushes past your face. And Virtua Outsourcing\’s Yuri Agbulos certainly agrees. So, put on your helmet and hop on as he takes us on a wild ride with him.
Yuri\’s Motorcycle Diary
Luis Charles Agbulos, or Yuri, is one of Virtua Outsourcing Solutions’ long-time support agents. He has been with the company for more than two years, working with different clients. Yuri described his time with the company as an awesome one. He says that he has learned a lot of things during his work.
But with all the things that he does, Yuri’s daily schedule can be rather hectic. When the pressure becomes too much, he takes his motorcycle out for some needed road trip. He and his friends typically head out to Tagaytay, Rizal, or Batangas to check out the sights. One of their favorite viewing spots is the Marilaque Road, or Marcos Highway, that stretches from Marikina to Infanta in Quezon. Yuri says that there are a lot of scenic spots along the entirety of the route.
Yuri says that they have also gone through the so-called Devil\’s Corner in Tanay, Rizal. This part of the route is famous for its long winding curve along the mountain said. He says that you really need to be careful when traversing this particular curve, as it can throw you off should you enter at high speeds. But it offers a scenic view of the lowlands, according to him.
If his fellow riders are not available, or if he just feels like it, Yuri also goes on solo rides. This time, he travels up north to Bulacan and Pampanga. As is with his group rides, he also makes it a habit to check out the different sights. Yuri particularly loves the various waterfall spots in Bulacan. He says that he gets to unwind during these trips and clear his mind. And once he feels better, he heads back home.
Virtua Rock Star
When he\’s not zooming around in his motorcycle,. Yuri plays the guitar and can dish out a mean riff. He cites local rock bands like Slapshock, Greyhoundz, and Urbandub as some of his favorites. But he would also play the tunes of international groups like Oasis and Incubus.
But he isn\’t just a musical rock star. Yuri proudly showed the numerous awards he received during his previous jobs. Many of these showcase his excellence in the customer support field and come from top companies like Dell and Convergys. He says that these are his biggest achievements and encourage him to work harder.
Watching With Yuri
When he\’s not riding or jamming, Yuri likes watching preparedness shows. One of his all time favorites is the Man Vs. Wild series featuring celebrity survival expert Bear Grylls. Other survival shows he marathons include Survivorman, and I Shouldn’t Be Alive.
So why those shows? Yuri says that he just wants to prepare for any worst case scenario. “Paranoid maybe, but it\’s better to have and need not than to need and have not, I guess,” he quips.
Aside from survival shows, Yuri also loves watching documentaries. While he willo watch anything that catches his fancy, he says that he’s drawn more to technical ones. These can be anything from the Kentucky Ballistics channel on Youtube, to MotoGP and Formula 1. But she also admits to having a soft spot for Family Feud, maily for its comedy.
And now we reach the end of our road trip with Yuri. It was a short but definitely fun ride. Catch more of him when you sign up for Virtua Outsourcing’s customer support service.
